Lisa Fletcher, RMT

Lisa Fletcher graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC in 2014 at which time she was honored with receiving The Lindsay Atkinson-Duncan Memorial Award for, “Outstanding Qualities of Kindness, Perseverance, and Human Spirit”.

She has enjoyed busy and satisfying practices in Squamish, B.C., Niagara Falls, Ont. and continues to offer her skillset to the Oceanside community with Paula Beuerman at Intuitive Touch Massage Therapy. In 2020, Lisa has increased her time at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy as a Clinical Instructor and has now extended her practice to Victoria joining the team at Infinity Massage Therapy.

Coming from a background assisting with emergency veterinary care, Lisa brings along with her extensive R.M.T. education, a deeper understanding, and appreciation, as well as hands-on experience of the living body and its dysfunction and disease processes.

Lisa Fletcher believes that positive therapeutic touch is of utmost importance for mental and emotional well-being and incorporates this philosophy into all of her treatments. Specific modalities used by Lisa in addition to more conventional approaches include post-mastectomy therapy, sternal-costal treatments for asthma, breathwork, and low-impact joint mobilizations.

Her practice is an inclusive, safe place and she is honored to hold space for those living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and body dysmorphia.

Animals, nature, and family are among Fletcher’s top passions in life. Lisa spends her off time exploring forest and ocean lines, hiking, snowshoeing, creating space for self-reflection and meditation, playing her guitar (poorly), board games, and camping.

She enjoys helping her clients regain range of motion, decrease stress and manage the varied pathologies benefited by massage therapy.
